Table Topic Gem–8/11/20

On my gratitude timeline, tonight’s meeting is one of the things I’m thankful for. Mary said we shouldn’t put limits on how God speaks to us, and I feel like He sent me a strong dose of encouragement this evening through all of you, so thanks for that!  I wanted to share the phrase I was trying to recall when I talked about Ordinary Time — it’s from Oswald Chambers My Utmost for His Highest devotional —  “At the basis of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom is the unaffected loveliness of the commonplace.”  I love that phrase — the unaffected loveliness of the commonplace.

–Margaret

At the basis of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom is the unaffected loveliness of the commonplace.
